clef200Northwest Suburban Concert Band

General Information

The Northwest Suburban Concert Band is a community band based in Hanover Park, Illinois, and has members from all over the northwest suburbs ... from Crystal Lake to Chicago. Members range in age from 16 to 60, but musicians of any age are welcome. The band is composed of brass (cornets, trumpets, French horns, baritone horns, euphoniums, trombones, tubas), reeds (clarinets, saxes, oboes, bassoons, flutes), and percussion (drums, tympani, bells).

The band's director is Joel Everett. Joel has an Associate Degree from the College of DuPage and is working on his Bachelor's in Music Composition at Columbia. He is a percussionist and keyboard player.

The band rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm at Spring Wood Middle School, 5540 Arlington Drive East, Hanover Park, Illinois, just southeast of the western end of the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway, south of Lake Street. For the summer (June, July, August), rehearsals are at the Ahlstrand/Rinne Pool Fieldhouse, 6900 Catalpa Street, Hanover Park.

NSCB NEWS

The NSCB has several other events already in the works for the Christmas season.

When things become more definite, we will pass them along here.
